Section 20 of the Victims and Prisoners Act 2024 introduced a new provision into Part 3 of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 (‘the Act’) Section 49A of the Act, titled ‘Arrangements to notify schools’, places a statutory duty on all police forces across England and Wales to implement the Operation Encompass information-sharing scheme.
